Hi, I’m Zafahnah Hussein

This year, I've decided to step outside my comfort zone and run in the Rio Linda Chamber of Commerce's annual Mayor's Race on behalf of Friends of Felines Rescue.

I'm not running for recognition or personal gain. I'm running because our community has a growing problem that deserves attention.

Feral cats don't fix themselves.

If you're tired of unwanted litters, fleas, spraying, fighting, and seeing homeless cats in our neighborhoods, there is a solution.

Every vote for me helps Friends of Felines Rescue:

  • Trap community cats

  • Provide spay/neuter services

  • Provide lifesaving medical care

  • Find loving homes whenever possible

Friends of Felines Rescue was founded in Rio Linda, but our mission extends far beyond our hometown. We proudly serve Rio Linda, Sacramento, Natomas, North Highlands, Antelope, Elverta, Roseville, Auburn, and surrounding communities. If there are cats in need, we'll go wherever we can to help save them.

When we work together, we create:

  • Fewer unwanted litters

  • Less suffering

  • Fewer nuisance issues like spraying and fighting

  • Reduced flea populations

  • Healthier cats

  • Safer, cleaner neighborhoods

This isn't just about cats—it's about creating healthier, safer neighborhoods for everyone.

A vote for Zafahnah is a vote for real change.

Every vote costs just $1, and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to Friends of Felines Rescue to help fund spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, food, and rescue efforts for cats in need.

Simply scan the Venmo QR code to vote, or if you'd prefer to pay with cash, just ask—we're happy to help.

Together, we can make a lasting difference—one cat, one neighborhood, and one vote at a time.

Vote Zafahnah.
